COVID-19: ‘Recovery rate in national capital is 88%’ says Delhi CM

Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday announced that the COVID-19 situation in the national capital has improved.
While addressing a virtual press conference, Kejriwal mentioned that the recovery rate in Delhi stands at 88 per cent. Only nine per cent of the people are ill now and two-three per cent people have died, said Kejriwal. There is a decline in the number of deaths, added the Delhi CM.

During the meeting, Kejriwal mentioned that the 'Delhi Model' of fighting coronavirus has been possible because of the support from all political parties, MLAs and MPs.

1211 new positive cases in the past 24 hours taking total caseload to 122793. 31 deaths reported taking total to 3628. There are 16031 active cases in Delhi. 1860 recovered taking total recoveries to 103134

"I have been holding meetings with all the Delhi MLAs, MPs for the last few days. Met several MLAs in the last two days, and spoke to all MPs today. If we continue to get such cooperation, we will soon be able to defeat Corona," he had tweeted.
